Sometimes I just need inspiration for meals.  We will highlight a quick, easy and healthy meal each week that we hope you will enjoy.

Cowboy Brisket


  • 2 tablespoon cowboy rub (such as McCormick Cattlemen's)

  • 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar

  • 2 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1 (6-pound) flat-cut brisket

  • 1 large sweet onion, sliced

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 cup chopped fresh cilantro
